Lexi got her interest in playing golf with her father. Her father was an avid golfer, and he started to play when he was a child. Lexis did her own homeschooling during high school and in September 2012, she got admitted at Louisiana State University for an undergraduate qualification. She was the youngest American Junior Golf Association player (AJGA) in addition to as being the first player in history to win the Westfield Junior PGA Championship at the time.
